A key feature of GlobalPort is the localization of content for medical associations. Using the GlobalPort platform, national societies will be able to co-brand and manage their own versions of content, regardless of the sophistication or capabilities of their own web-systems. The GlobalPort Localization module allows varying depths of localization and translation, so that one group might translate the entire body of content, while another may only wish to modify section fronts or one or two levels into the content. The module also supports localization without translation, so that, for example, an English language version might be presented with national society branding, a different set of sponsor recognition, and perhaps commentaries or periodic call-outs, in the native language, at specific points within the content, to address regional variations in treatment modalities, drug names, or other content (e.g. journal articles, trials, subspecialty content, etc.). At the end of the day, everything stays within the system, so that your organization can oversee and maintain control of the elements, styles, and components as needed or desired.
